His Presence Changes Everything

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you… When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned.” Isaiah 43:2
Wherever you are, whatever you’re carrying, may I remind you that you don’t have to have it all together to encounter God. You don’t have to wait until you feel stronger, better, or more put together.
The truth is, some of the most powerful moments with God don’t happen when everything is going well. They happen right in the middle of the struggle.
And it’s there, through the presence and power of the Holy Spirit, that we’re reminded: we are never alone.
There were a few nights I won’t forget.
The pain was intense and excruciating. My body was exhausted, and I couldn't sleep.I prayed, I shifted, I waited, but the discomfort remained.
So, I did what I often do in those moments. I turned on soaking worship music and sat in His presence. And somehow the music shifted. A song came on: “God, I’m Not Okay.” It caught me off guard. Because the truth is, I wasn’t okay.
But right there, in that moment, the Holy Spirit began to minister to me so gently: He is always with us. When we’re strong, when we’re healed, and when everything makes sense. But He is also with us, in the pain and in the struggle.
Right there, in the middle of it, His presence meets you.
Even when the body is weak, His presence is real
.In pain, He is carrying you, and even when you’re not okay, He still is.
It’s not always about having answers or escaping the pain.
Sometimes, it’s about encountering the presence of the Holy Spirit right there in the middle of it.
Throughout Scripture, we see this truth again and again. God never promised we wouldn’t face hard seasons, but He did promise we wouldn’t face them alone.
Job suffered, yet God was with him.David cried out, and God heard him.Paul endured affliction, and God strengthened him.
We even see this in the New Testament. In Mark 8:22–25, a blind man comes to Jesus for healing, but it doesn’t happen all at once.
At first, he can only see partially. It’s blurry. Not clear. Not complete.
But Jesus doesn’t leave him there. He touches him again, and his sight is fully restored.
That moment reminds us of something powerful: sometimes God works in process, not just in an instant, and even in the middle of it, Jesus is still present, still working, and still bringing restoration.
And the same is true for us.
We are not exempt from hardship or sickness; our faith may be stretched. But we are never alone.
God is with us through the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. And that changes everything.
The pain may still be there, but so is His peace. The struggle may continue, but so does His strength. The night may feel long, but His presence never leaves.
If you’re hurting, weary, overwhelmed, or your heart feels heavy. You are not alone. The Holy Spirit is right there with you, even now.
There are times when the greatest miracle isn’t immediate healing.
Sometimes it’s the undeniable awareness that God, through His Spirit, is right there holding you, strengthening you, and carrying you through.
Heavenly Father,Thank You for Your presence that never leaves us. Thank You that when we are weak, You are strong, and when we feel overwhelmed, You are near. Holy Spirit, I ask that You would wrap every hurting heart in Your comfort. Strengthen their bodies, renew their minds, and fill them with Your peace. Let Your presence be so real, so tangible, that they know without a doubt, they are not alone. Lord, we trust You, even in the pain. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
If you are reading this and you do not know Jesus, or you feel far from Him, this is your moment. Jesus taught that to enter the Kingdom of God, we must be born again, made new through faith in Him. If you are unsure what that means or have never made that decision, I encourage you to connect with a mature believer who can walk with you into this life-changing step, into baptism, and into new life in Jesus Christ.
Get planted. Find a Bible-teaching, Holy Spirit-filled church family that will pray for you, love you, disciple you, and walk alongside you. Pursue Jesus with your whole heart and watch Him transform your life.
To Him be the glory forever and ever!
